it's to mount in a 64bit setup... | It isn't really suited for CPUs... It's rathered used as interface between components and heatsinks, which need to be fixed, cos no holes or wathever to fix the heatsinks.
So, it's good for MOSFETs, memory chips, some PWM chips and even southbridge... That's all...
PS: Shin-Etsu is out :D You better use AS5 or Nanotherm PCM+, which are the 2 best thermal pastes for CPUs...
