is that socket 939?
is there any difference in the mounting if it is to be used on socket 939?

there are still no specs of socket 939, so I think we will have to wait a while.
my guess is that you could use socket 754 kit.

The size of the socket 939 and the 940 CPU is the same, only different pin layout.
So I'm quit sure that the hold down mechanism won't change.

Calantak no longer has his "old" unit. He send it to Holland for repair, but it is in unrepairable state. He told the guy he could keep the broken prommy for the efforts, as the repair of the prommy would be as price as a 2nd hand model. and then we are not yet putting the shipping costs into the price list.

although seeing as he could have had 2 working Prommies with the ~€1000 budget.. who knows :)

I'm 100% sure a Prommy on GPU and CPU will be more effective than a GT + Pelt on the videocard :)

I might know the right people to get cheaper capillary tubes... I'm gonna check...

??? I do know some of that kind too :D , but no, I'm talking about people who create their own Vapochill, and they are used to find cheaply some pieces like the tubes, as they want to keep the price as low as possible... ;)
