Default Conroe E6400 e.s in the u.k.

hi lads, just bought an E6600. and im now selling this E6400 engineering sample cpu along with a badaxe revision 304 with the multiplier mod done (conductive pen) .

cpu price £150 plus p&p (free stock cooler) (= 220 euros)

badaxe £115 plus p&p (boxed as new/mint) (=170 euros)

both less than 6 weeks old.

cpu hit 3.26ghz for testing in this board (ran for 1 day only) but it will go further im sure in the correct hands (done on water cooling).

im going for and asus board to try and see where it tkes the E6600

payment can be done via paypal and will ship internationaly at cost price.

Cheers

sure can mate, as you can see from the sig, i updated to an e6600 to see what the difference 4mb makes (not too much tbh!) but im going to try an asus board as its supposed to clock better than the badaxe...... i would like to get the e6600 to a high clock and do some benching for a day or two (been told that 3.8 -4ghz is common with asus and water cooling) once i do that i will sit on this and run at stock then it will be no doubt a kentsfield when they are more widely availabe......

cheers again...Gordy

3.6Ghz on water cooling is far from bad! the 4Mb L2 cache "clock for clock" with the 2Mb version impacts "up to 10%" in some applications, but overall you'd be hard pressed to notice anything.
