Working for others to make a living

Welll, [H] posted this article which I thought had nothing to do with Hardware/software or computing related. Second thought, I believe their readers must feel good to absorb this type of materials, after all we all have to work to make a living sooner or later.

Are they morons? This is a harder question to answer. Having held CEO position once, and worked with CEO on the a level below on a couple occasions, I like to say U.S. CEOs are mostly morons.

Because I failed to be a moron (letting go 300 hourly employees and felt bad for the unneccessary action simply for short term gain), I must say they are morons most of the time.

Exception - they all have the ability and knowledge to bring each of them to the position. It is what happens afterward they make them morons.

A good CEO will motivate; direct, prepare and train with foresight in a competitive global market.

A bad one is the guy who will be sent to jail for any wrong doing

For a Company to do the daily work, I'd say CEO is not needed. For a Company to last and remain profitable, a good CEO is needed

a CEO is like a someone who does the human resources or something ?

CEO = Chief Executive Officer
CFO = Chief Financial Officer

Human Resources = person in charge of hiring; training; sometimes payroll; medical benefit; job descriptions; house keeping etc.
