Mine: Opel Astra break (the '98 model) 1.7td
Parents: same, but the 2l tdi version ... i'm GLAD i have a 1.7, got enough speed tickets as it is :grum:

yep, only for a weekend though, I rented one, my company payed the bill, a return for delivering a good job

" guys, the company went bankrupt 2 years later due to major decision error on the part of the higher management; they fired the person who was acting as managing director, after that the company went down in only 4 months!

I still have good contact with that managing director and I consider him a good friend, he knew what he was doing but was tricked and betrayed by some of his closest co-workers.

he managed to bring in a lot of money for the company, and had contacts with the large IT firms; He arranged me a good company car, time to study and use their IT lab for getting my MCSE certification (NT/2000) , Cisco and Citrix, while searching for interesting clients to send me to.

I had great colleagues which have now become close personal friends; I lost a lot when that company went under, it was the best I ever had, and I'm still searching to get back that balance of hard work/good rewards/great atmosphere/great colleagues. I loved going to work each day and was sad to leave in the evening.

I have never encountered another firm which offered me that afterwards; and I've been through a few now.

a sad story; but I left there with great memories and a whole truckload of new friends

at the moment i'm still using my parents' cars:

VW polo, 1995: perfect city-car, packs more of a punch than one would suspect, corners great

BMW 320d touring, 2001: god, i lurv this car ... it's a company car running on company diesel, so i don't have any real reason to care about fuel efficiency when i'm driving this baby

and of course almost every (somewhat) recent type of Citroen, due to my work

I almost bought myself a BMW 318i coupe today, the E30 to be exact ... for it was the perfect car, except for the engine which needed to be revised -- for starters ... too bad, too bad
good chance i'm going to have a look at another second hand BMW this weekend tho
