a humble intro Good morning all! My name is Ted, occasionally known as KillerCroc when I was a heavy UT player. I live in NC with my wife and her 6 cats, my 3.5 computers, and we own/operate a small computer parts business on eBay under the name "Teliperk Technologies Inc". We moved to NC 3 years ago when we tired of being beaten up by crowds and high prices in NJ (though I still miss the great restaurants there) and have taken a more "southern" approach to the speed of life - talk a little slower, move a little slower, and savor some of the best BBQ in the world! I have been using computers since 1986, and haven't bought a commercial PC since my Dell P2 400mhz in 199?. I'm currently planning a Phenom quad-core general-use PC for the Mrs and an i7 940 system for me to be built when a) I have all the money, and 2)...well, actually just #1. Anyway, that's who I am and where I'm from (and my store is on eBay if anyone wants to check it out) Happy 2009 everyone; it WILL get better

Yep, all indoors, and it's only a two-bedroom townhouse. Worse, none are de-clawed as my wife and I agree that the procedure is tantamount to cruelty; I'd rather have shredded furniture than tortured cats (I know, not all will agree with us on this but my wife is ADAMANT on this issue). So, no leather/pleather covered PC's for me; steel and aluminum only thank you and placed somewhat out of reach - like inside a roll-top desk compartment. Naturally, I rely on watercooling as ventilation is an issue. By the way, the ".5" computer is an old generic case that I practiced modding on until it was Swiss cheese - then I threw out the outer panels and just kept the frame as a test bed. I call it "Skeletor" for obvious reasons

Not much at all; all air intakes are filtered (I use cut down sections of air register filters from Lowes/Walmart/Home Depot etc..keeps dust and crap to a minimum and they're washable! I usually just toss 'em and cut a new one but I'm just lazy..?

Greetings New to the forums here. just wanted to say hello. I usually frequent Hardocp's forums and am an avid overclocker and PC gamer. I work in IT for my living, PC's are my passion. I'm just amazed what can be done with them.
