| Here are the 3DMark's, CPU@stock + 1x 3870@stock 3MD03=36061 3DM05=19697 3DM06=12464 CPU@stock + 2x 3870@stock 3DM03=60483 3DM05=22683 3DM06=16376 As you can see the only score that is a big differens between single and CF is 3DM03,the differens in 3DM05/06 @ single/CF is not that big,or is this normal. |

| that is normal, 3D03 is a very GPU related bench, 3D05 and 3D06 are more overall system related. what's important though is games; are they quicker?

| 3D01 is completely CPU related with newer video cards, HD 3870 is considered ultra high end of a benchmark from 2001 3D01: sees as good as no improvement from more VGA power (+2% going to CF) 3D03: is extremely GPU dependent, biggest boost (+67% going to CF) 3D05: more CPU power dependent, VGA still plays a role (+15% going to CF) 3D06: more balanced between CPU & VGA, bigger boost than in 3D05 (+31% going to CF) try Far Cry 2 build in benchmark or other game to get a real idea of performance increase http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/g...5B2121%5D= on Quote:

FYI a single ATI Radeon HD 4850 is faster than two HD 3870 VGAs
