![]() | [Poll] Which car to buy? -pics- It's time for me to ditch my temporary Ford Fiesta (which is a nice car too!) and choose a definite company car. I've been given a choice and all these car are within my budget, which one would you choose and why? I can't choose. ![]() ![]()

| hard to say, as whe can not see the interiour! Ask for a test drive! and ditch the audi, it's ugly, the new astra looks nice! but so does the golf and alfa. But didn't alfa had problems with their cars? and personally i would prefer golf above the astra, those golfs are pretty sturdy! |

![]() | I'd pick the Alfa, nice interior and good looking on the outside.

![]() | It i'll be a very hard choice between the Astra and Golf. The picture of the Astra is ugly in my humble opinion, but irl it looks awesome in black. I find the golf a bit dull on the outside, but excellent finish on the inside. I'll try to get a better price for the Golf 1.9TDi 105pk, it's just above my budget. The new Alfa might be too expensive, the old one was *much* cheaper.

![]() | we've got the astra 1.6 twinport here in dark green. its a real pleasure to drive, only the "controls" off the whipers are a bit weird to get used to (but i guess it's in all of the new cars nowadays) in comparison to the old astra it has less "boot" space though, because of the strange shape of the trunk. if i was you i would choose between the golf and the astra, audi a2 is butt ugly and i never liked alfa ![]() |

![]() | I would still consider the Focus, that car has some great handling; I read a roadtest between Focus/Golf/Astra/Mini, their high end series with pumped up motors, but the basis is the same, the motors are only more powerfull. so Focus (180) / Golf (220!) / Astra (160) / Mini (150). They were all tested on a straight track and also in the mountains, curvy roads. results: Straight ahead: Golf the fastest Mountains Curvy: most efficient was the Focus, most fun was the Mini - VW Golf 1.9 TDi 90pk Trendline 16.950 - Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi 109pk Ambiente 17285

![]() | Unfortunatly, Ford is not an option. It's not hard to imagine the Focus is fun to drive, it's little brother the Fiesta is real fun to, even though it lacks much power on paper. ![]() Brands to choose between: Audi, VW, Opel, Renault (bah!), BMW (too expensive) or Alfa Romeo

![]() | too bad, the Focus packs quite a punch with "just" 109pk. go for the Golf then, not quite fond of Opel.

| alfa! a2 ~ vw polo as said astra is imo butt, butt, butt-ugly a golf is ... wel a golf but that's just my personal opinion ![]() i must say that i don't really like german cars in general though, not that their bad cars, they're just too german (if u now what i mean) so alfa was the obvious choice for me ![]() |
