Morrowind

I've been playing Morrowind for almost a month and I think it is one of the best single-player RPGs of all time! The graphics are great, the sound is excellent, and the story is deep and engrossing. It is non-linear, so you can do the quests or not do the quests, it's up to you to decide.

Has anyone else here played it, yet?

I normally don't play RPG's, it's got a very addicting gameplay and all the things you mentioned above is true.

I restarted this game already 3 times, and everytime it's a totally different game. I love it

By the way, it would be fun to show a pic of each other caracters.

Oh, one question, does anyone know were to find a deadric crossbow? I've got the demer one, which is good, but I'm looking for the best.

I've found all the other deadric weapons, but I'm a marksman...

Here's what my character looked like a few levels ago. I have since found (looted from a dead enemy body) an Orckan cuirass that is MUCH better than the Dragonscale in the picture. I also now have a Dreogh shield I picked up from a defeated Daedra.

Haven't come across a Daedric crossbow, but I'd be willing to bet that you could find one in a Daedric ruin, probably in use by a Daedra.

Too slow? It plays pretty well on my XP1700+ & GF DDR setup... I can't see how your GF3 has trouble with this game. Or this is a very CPU dependant game...

To speed up Morrowind on a slower processor, set the 3D Sound Quality to 'Low' and set the music volume all the way down. You can also set the AI slider all the way down, as well. That should speed things up pretty well.
