Default Mini disks... what a *****.

I got a sony mini disc player with a VERY IMPORTANT mix on it on a disk.

I need this transfered from the MiniDisc to the PC by any means possible.

The software recieved with the MDplayer 'MG Jukebox' only allows music to be transfered onto the player and not off it. Windows Media Player doesnt allow it to be copied either as it doesn't wont register the device.

Anyone know any software that allows copying through the USB or a direct audio line for old fashioned analog copying.

ANY HELP PLEEEASE!
.
thanks

what soundcard you have?
if soundblaster, just use creative-recorder

I dont know how to find out what my sound card is, doesnt look like its good.

I got Sonic Foundary Sound Forge 6.0..

I plug the minidisc into the device in slot and when it records it goes really quiet!

When I plug it into the mic slot though it comes out at a good volume but lower quality!

Has anyone had problems like this before,

thanks for any help

Use the line in and Audacity... In Audacity you can amplify by software (or hardware, dunno) the signal and record in *.wav... Afterwards you do what pleases you...
