What are you trying to say?
My statement: A few generations ago, belgian kids knew about sinterklaas, but not about santa. Now they know about both, and they know about it before they know they both are fake, which results in confusion.

santa clause just didn't exist here 50 years ago, just christmas, and it was a spiritual holliday in wich the whole family gets together again.

Sinterklaas is a European thing (Belgian?) and it shouldn't be pushed aside in favor of santa clause...

We pay more attention to sinterklaas then to santa clause...
we never really celebrated 'santa clause' only sinterklaas...
of course we have a very nice diner on christmas-eve, but we don't hang our socks for santa clause :roll:
You know, my sister went to England to visit a friend of her's and they were surprised to hear about an old man giving presents to children and the children can sit on his lap...but what's the difference with santa clause??!!
nyway, santa clause, sinterklaas, it makes no difference to me, as long as I get my money
