| Estimate over 10,000 dead. Result of not using common sense; lack of leadership; bullshit talks = cost of many lives I have had worked with people exactly like that; it pains me. At least, the General in charge is one "John Wayne" instead of the "3-Stoogers" running the show at the beginning.

 | I read this post right before I left for my yearly holiday, as I did not have a lot of time I did not really know what this was about. however in the Hotel in Spain I watch CNN in horror as I saw the devestation which was caused to New Orleans and how many people suffered and died. The governement did not act in time at all (5 days after?) and I think the US should accept ALL AID they can get, and not focus on OIL but on SAVING LIVES. hearing them say that the only way to help the US is to send OIL, was really shocking. Sure I understand the economic impact of this disaster, but their priorities were(are?) mixed up
