(€65 kicking Calantak's 3.06Ghz booty) Flop: MAXTOR D740X's WERE WAY TOO FRIGGING LOUD!!!!

![]() | 1) xp1800+ dlt3c juihb 75€ 2) Hyundai imagequest Q910 monitor (superb flatron 19" @ only 255 €) 3) GF4mx440 ; ability to see divx/xvid on my TV (thx to tvout) and i can play most games enjoyable for +- 50 € edit: FLOP : zalman cpucooler amd : frikkin loud (yes all the reviews tell you the oposite , i returned the fan , i thought it was a bad sample , got a new one : no diff) and bad cooling at the same time

| + KR7A-R, very stable + 512 Twinmos PC2100, FSB 187 at high latencies + iiyama 17" CRT + Koolance PC2-C (free) - thermaltake V7+ - thermaltake copper shim I've recently drawn the conclusion: DO NOT buy cheap stuff. quality stuff lives longer and it's 'cheaper' in the long run |
