Cars of tomorrow

visitor to the Frankfurt International Motor Show, taking place from Sept. 12-25, 2005, tries out a driving simulator that imitates a Volkswagen Golf GTI.

In this Wiesmann GT, technology takes a backseat to sleek design.

A reconstructed Audi A3 racecar gets a fill-up of vegetable oil from inventor and engine specialist Hilmar Wolf. Retooled for the fuel by Wolf, the car reportedly packs 191 horsepower and hits a top speed of about 150 mph.
