Default Believe it - Vietnam man handles three decades without sleep

As songbirds awaken the early risers at dawn on the farm, one resident is already up; in fact, he never slept – not once in the past 33 years.

You’d think going without sleep for that long may have its drawbacks, but not for the man in central Quang Nam province who has never been ill after decades of insomnia.

His inability to sleep has not only made him famous, but also represents a “miraculous” phenomenon worthy of scientific study.

I wonder how the body repairs itself? possible that it does it while awake or partially at rest? I bet that man misses sleep like hell.

if a normal person doesnt sleep for an extended period of time, he goes nuts.

this guy's brain probably does what normal people do while they sleep, while it's awake.

can you imagine real 24 hour days, all the time? would own.

i know it's possible to take special sleeping courses, enabling your brain to do the work it usually does while sleeping in a much shorter amount of time. but you still do require sleep, it's just in a shorter period of time. special forces, extreme athletes and such often follow such courses.

Am I the only one that wouldn't want to spend all day every day awake?
