![]() | i've been playing chronicles of riddick escape from butcher bay, director's cut since yesterday, and it is a great game, grafics are very good, atmosphere is way darker then doom3>. but it's one heavy systemspecs beast... the fx@3.0 with my x800xtpe @ 560/1150 is sweating heavily at 1280*1024*2*fsaa/8*aa... so that's heavy stuff...

![]() | sweating heavily? as in howmuch fps? I've never understood the need for FSAA, it's a terrible drain on the graphic card's performance. in my humble opinion, it just blurs the image rather then make it prettier (I think this is normal because of the way AA works).

![]() | yeah it blurs, but therefore you must enable AF too. if you see games that have lines, without AA it look a broken line if you know what i mean. and in nfsu2 with AA enabled the road looks mutch better. if you have the power why not use it? ![]()
