Default where to put a thermal sensor on a Ti 4600 ?

like you all know, I modded my leadtek.
now I want to know what the temp is

where is the best place to put the sensor?
at the back ?
removing the heatsink (alpha 6035) is not an option.


idea's please....

you leave not much options open now do you...
putting it as close to the core if preferable, using lots of pressure

did you.. Artic silver adhesive the heatsink to the gf4 ?

Watch out, those temp probes get crushed quite easily.

You could probe the back, but I noticed the back temp of the gpu doesn't change that much whether you cool the front well or not. At least that's the situation with my GF DDR.

how does that pal look like? like all the other pals?
if so, I would put it between the bars, in the center, at the bottom of the cooler.
