He did mention his card is PCIe... so a 512mb 8800GT might offer better than 3x the performance, 7800GT was remarkably similar to the performance of a 8600. Just with much higher power draw ;)

I think, i'll get rid of my 7800GTX card and look for some other ones...though, 8800 sounds good but look at their price range man; from £320 - £450...:redface:
