|  Teus got a problem Got a call from Teus, seems he's got a problem with his internet-connection, here's the situation: He has a Telenet connection and uses a stand-alone server to share his internet-connection: Inet --> Server --> Hub --> PC1, pc2, pc... the connection between the server and the Hub is OK, but the connection between Inet <-> server is borked, there's no cable-connection, he already changed the UTP-connectors and tried the 2 different NIC's in the server. The strange thing is that this setup used to work before he moved the server downstairs. Plz help yer friend in need |

| maybe the modem is broken? already tried to reset the modem? |

| resetted modem, got inet now working on the server  (now sitting on the garage floor, moved TFT to config the box  )now gotta get the rest of the network working, the NIC to the switch has already sent +70 packages but doesn't receive any though two other machines are connected to the switch  |

| goddamnit, still NOT solved :grum other PCI slot, other NIC, nothing works while it used to work perfectly |

| got pissed off late that evening, telenet now connected to a client machine I'll format the server in two weeks when I'm back from France |
