![]() | I'm looking for a way to synchronize Lotus Notes (work) with Outlook (private) and especialy the contacts. Synching the calendars should be doable with Google Calendar, but I'm still looking for a decent (free) way to do it with the contacts and maybe even the to-do's. Has anybody tried this before ? Or does anybody know some online contact sync tool which can do the trick for me ? I've been thinking about Google Contacts before, but I have the impression that it gets polluted easily because it adds everybody I send a mail to. |

![]() | In an American company with local firms all over the world it's no surprise that they still use Lotus Notes Now, don't be mistaken, Lotus Notes is still under active development at IBM, it's not like we're using 15 year old crap ![]() |

![]() | I have been using Lotus Notes for years now at a Belgian Government Institution. We use it because our programmers can program specific software which can be integrated in Notes.

![]() | I suppose you mean something the FOD Financiën uses? I don't work for them. The programs they integrated are for example: - a reservation system for conference rooms; - a system for 'follow up' of tasks send to translators.

![]() | no, the strength lies in the databases and apps you can link to use those databases ![]() instead of having a CRM application, ticketing application, bug track application, mailing groups, wiki's and 1001 different resources spread over platforms and servers; you can all integrate it into Lotus Notus; Lotus Notes: "yes it does mail too". Is a nice tagline ![]()
