Default Started using outlook 2003 and going crazy

I always used outlook express and was pleased with it. Now I installed office 2003 and e-mail became an instant plague.

My msn contacts status doesn't show in the contact list, the contact list looks like a telephone guide/adressbook instead of just simple names, I can't split attachments ....

Is there a decent how-to for outlook on the web?

I just love Outlook 2003 , never split attachments (large attachments don't need to be send my email anyway)

I use MSN for MSN, Outlook for Mail message through the addressbook, which is much more complete

it's an addressbook; it's called addressbook , so stating this is quite funny: "the contact list looks like a telephone guide/adressbook "

In outlook Express my contacts are only names, not more not less. They are always visible so I just have to double click them to make a new e mail message, capich?

In outlook 2003 I have to open the contacts tab, search for my contact, remember the adress, open a new message, type the adress blablabla....

you can customise the whole contacts view. Outlook 2003 can do what Express does, and then some. feel free to drop by and I'll give you a quick rundown of its features, and how to work with them; after you tasted the rules wizard, PST automated backups, spamfilters; you will NEVER go back.

hehe, wasn't joking about new mail, thx for dze tip.

Spamfilter is the main reason I want to switch; For learning the other features an "outlook 2003 for dummies" book looks like a good birthday present. Now I only need to give my wife a hint....

Download Spambayes here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/s..._mirror=belnet

install & create 2 folders; Junk E-Mail (should be there already I think) and "Junk E-mail (maybe)

configure spambayes like this ->

Note : you can setup a pop3 spamfilter with spambayes and this also works for express

... or install mozilla thunderbird (± same spam baysian filter) with calendar plugin + rss plugin
