|  idd, it must be the PSU... I ran prime from 13.00 till 19.45 and I had no problem at all (at 10*180 with 1.55 Vcore, but I think it will be the same @ higher FSB) btw, the mp isn't locked, as far asI recall... guess I'll search a decent PSU... |

| I still haven't bought a new PSU but now, when it blacks out and I restart, he gives a 25 error (on the little screen/led-thingie on the mobo) and makes a high-low noise. couldn't it be something else then? |

| I finally installed a new PSU. A Levicom 550W (that flashy one). I thought it would have nice V-rails but noooooo, this PSU is a reincarnation of the previous one: 3.3 -> 2.86 5 -> 4.87 12 -> 12.71 Yet, I ran prime for 6 hours at a speed of 11*193 and no errors occured. Then I played Rome - Total War for 15 minutes and the screen blacked out (like in my first post): it was like there was no signal input from the vid-card, but everything kept running (for instance the fan of the graka) meanwhile the music hangs like a scratched record, or sometimes, winamp keeps playing... Vcore is 1.6 now and RAM 2.9 I thought, I will probebly lower it later. the differences between my current rig and the one from the first post is: the PSU change, heatspreaders on the ram and I flashed my 9800 np to a pro (no problems there) Should I try this mod: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...p/t-30827.html or Are the problems caused by the low 3.3V-rail?? |

| Mobo volt read-outs aren't correct. My 12V sometimes is 10V ! can't be correct. Now, the black screen think looks familiar. My R9600PRO has the same thing when it's overclocked too high. The screen turns off, but the game doesn't crash (I can blindly restart my pc w/o resetting it). |

| run it several times in a row, if you have pro version and/or if you use 2001, you can loop it automatically. have atitool test for artifacts for a while. 1 3dmark run doesn't always bring out the flaws  |
