speed of dvd-writer changed

Hi

Yesterday I installed a second hard drive. After I installed the hard drive my dvd-writer max writing speed changed to 2.4x before it was 4x. The hdd is an IDE drive installed on sata. My dvd-writer is a liteon 832s.

Can somebody help me.

unplug the harddrive & test again ,
the burningsoftware is/was the same ?
brand of dvdr is still the same ?

It's the same burn software, the brand of the disks is still the same. Unpluging the hdd I will try later

problem solved itself. Why I don't know, but after a reboot it was gone.
