sound switching softwaren

ENGLISH VERSION

I have a nforce² mobo (leadtek winfast k7ncr18D pro) and a SB live value. I want to plug in my headphone in my mobo and mij surround set in my sb.
Then in Win I want to switch between this 2 devices. For example: when I just play music and my parents aren’t sleeping then I use my sb, but then when they are sleeping, I just switch to the headphone that is connected to my mobo.

Does anyone know software like this? How must I do it?
Could it give probs with the microphone which is always connected with the SB live? I mean , if I use my headphone, is it then possible to use it in combination with the mic.

DUTCH VERSION

Of natuurlijk omgekeerd.

What operating system?

jmke 29th May 2003 13:36

in most (9x/2000/XP)

start -> settings -> Control Panel

Sounds & Multimedia

then select the correct device in the dropdown from the playback devices

selecting the "use only default devices" will prevent any "accidents" late at night ;)

problem with logitech drivers rather then windows itself :)
don't think there is a shortcut way to make you able to switch quickly, as it needs a control panel module to get those settings changed!
