Setup isn't starting Windows 2000
 

- MSI K7T266 Pro2 RU, Promise RAID controller
- 2x Maxtor D740X, RAID 0
- plextor 12/10/32a
- aopen 16x dvd

Installatie loopt telkens vast bij:
'Setup is starting Windows 2000'
geen enkele CD/HDD/... activiteit.
(Met en zonder gebruik te maken van F6)

4 partities aangemaakt met Partition Magic:
- primary, nfts
- logic, nfts
- primary unformatted
- primary unformatted

Er stond voorheen Win98 op (1 partitie),
die installatie verliep overigens vlekkeloos.

APIC uitzetten seems to do the trick, for now.

I know some RAID configs have problems with Win2000, or it takes veeerry long to initiate

I got an 'ACIP xxxxx' error when trying to install RedHat (W2K, Mandrake and Debian just crashed without an error message),
otherwise I wouldn't have found out either.

All is well that ends well,
running W2K SP3.
Start-up seems to be a tad slower than win98 though,
stability will make up for it I guess.
