| PROXY opens the ports Looks like i'm doing notting else then configuring firewalls lately. I had to forward some ports for new software ... i do a check afterwards. Results: 8080 proxy (spoofing is possible) 514 TCP open 22 SSH open 23 telnet open 138 windows/samba open 139 netbios open :wtf: I had two pc's with proxy enabled for ie-connection. If i disable the proxy ALL PORTS are hidden or stealthed. How come the proxy settings apparantly opens some ports ? |

| Firewall = hardware (in router) + software (TP4) Proxy software ? ... none If i set the IE-connection-setting (lansetting) to "use proxy" then the ports are open.
