Default problem with my tv-card

i have an hauppage wintv fm card
and i want to play a video on my pc.
so i pluged my scart/s-video cable in my videorecorder and the other in my tvcard /svideo
and when i press on play i only see black and white film.
i already try to find it but i can't get any color
so if anyone knows what this is?

Composite and S-video selection in connection will resolve your problem.

Setting in you software; must be the same with the physical wiring connection.

You either use S-video or Composite and not both at the same time. Your software must also be in the correct setting.
