| the grounding (house, wall pluggs and case are ok, it was tested not so long ago (renovating this damned place ) anyway, I tried to record the hissing butt my headset mic isn't good enough, the only thing you can hear is a "cricket" like sound when I'm scrolling. turn your speaker volume all the way up, else you wont hear a thing... sound |

| First of all, the woman you mentioned might have terminal MPS on a monthly basis. Secondly, if you have to turn the speaker all the way up to hear; it may well be the sound system rather than the processor itself. Unplug all audio related components, i.e. including disable onboard sound, let me know if the hisses still there.

| Now I got it; the sound file!!; ) What do women produce on a monthly basis? The only place (hardware) that may produce "hisses" or "sound waves" would be from: 1) Power Supply 2) On board capacitors Most EMI comes from bad power supply. But, that is an old song. Today, EMI is rare occurance. The same reason you are finding clear plexi case and window case. Full metal case prevents EMI better.

| EMI = interference? like a cellphone lying close to the pc so that one can predict an incoming call seconds before the phone actually starts to ring? Today all equipment should be shielded well enough to prevent that. i'm certain the sound comes from the cpu btw -> I switched my 2.4 by a 2.26 and the hissing was no more, I switched again and ... indeed :grum: |

| Electro-Magnetic-Interference = EMI There is harmonic interference, which has to do with frequency wave length; similar to TV reception "ghost".

I'm going to build a "kids entertainment system" around this cpu, as if they care about a little noise more or less | |
