ps; BiCker is right, the P4 2.0A chip makes a chirping noise when it's put under load, and makes different pitches sounds when the load varies, I can understand this could be annoying to some

if you guys are talking about the second pms link, my wife is grumpy 3 weeks a month, one week she behaves a little better


about the noise: maybe it's some kind of hidden message the Americans baked into the chip, like "buy more american cars" or "McDonalds prepares only healthy meals". They just didn't realize our hearing is so much better that somethimes it reveals itself as this noise we're hearing....



Lazyman, I could ship it to you as soon as I find an affordable second hand one to replace it. Then you could hear it for yourself...

maybe it has something to do with the PSU or power-net. TV's and radios etc. also make hissing sounds when the frequency of the net fluctuates a lot
