![]() | Does any one know what these logfiles mean: "osCheck Vista Migration 2007-01-09 18h35m44s.log" They contain the following text: "* CActivityLogFile::Initialize(50) : Activity Log Started: C:\DOCUME~1\XXXX\LOCALS~1\Temp\osCheck Vista Migration 2007-01-09 18h35m44s.log * Current OS is not Vista. Exiting..." I found them while cleaning my temp folder. Is microsoft watching till we go Vista??

![]() | I think it's just Windows update subprocess which does an osCheck, and writes away the output, since your system is not running Vista it "exits" the program. google didn't help me much further, in fact, it linked back to this page (already!) http://www.google.com/search?q=osChe...&start=10&sa=N
