Default networking question

my network @ home: see attach

let's say I set up an internet game with my router and I join the server with those 2 machines, how does that work then?
when the 2 local machines connect to the server, do they use upload bandwith?

does the server send the data to 192. ... directly through the local network or what, I can't imagine the router/server uploads data to telenet, downloads what it just uploaded and THEN forwards it to the other local machines :wtf:
