Default MX1000 buttons don't work in games

Hey,

does someone know how I can bind the side buttons etc of the MX1000 in games? I play a lot of WoW and I use them for switching targets. But nw its very annoying that they don't work.

I installed the logitech drivers for this mouse but where mouseware allowed me to use all my mouse keys in games the new software (setpoint) doesn't allow me to do that. To bad there is no mouseware version that is compatible with the MX1000

I can use the side buttons in-game, no software installed

it might be the game itself that needs an update

well, mouseware allowed me to use those buttons on my MX700 in the same game. So I guessed its just the new software which is not good enough.

Someone tolled me to bind a keycombination to those buttons and then bind those in the game and It works, to bad that they now don't work in windows.

Someone knows the key combination of forward and back so I can use them in games and in windows?

if you use the software and select other for each of the side buttons (7 and 8) then generic button and all will be well

I know, but I like to use it to forward and return in my browser, so if anyone can give me the shortcuts for forward and return in firefox I can use them and it will work in both windows and games.
