maybe a stupid question but where can i find the port number (eg. 378) that is used by a pci lpt card?

you can find it out with parport
http://www.circuitsonline.net/download/view.php?id=2
you can see the port's adresses. write the adresses down, remove the card. the adress that has been removed is the port number

open the properties-window of you par.port and go to the bronnen/sources page, there you will find the i/o-ranges of the port

hmm, i got 8c00-8c07, not 378-something, it's a pci card, maybe that causes the problem? I can't get my lcd running anymore...

you CAN get TeuS's program to work in windows XP, just right-click on the file "ParPort.exe" and select eigenschappen/properties, there you wille find a tab called compatibiliteit/compatibility where you can select the folowing:

just select windows 95 or 98 and it will work like it should
