Letter path of hard drive screwed up help Hey all I have a bit of a problem, reformated my fathers computer and something happened to me that had never happened before, it made the letter path for my hard drive H: instead of C: like it should have, i have no other explanation other then the fact that he has a card reader. Anyhow it won't let me install anything like chipset or graphics drivers, keeps telling me the size of drive C: is to small. I've already tried renaming the partitioned hard drive H: to C: in the disk management section but it tells me a partitioned drive can't be renamed. Is there anything else i can do besides reformating to get this thing to read as C: drive? thanks -Ray |
unfortunately only way to get the system drive to change driver letter is reinstall without the card reader installed :/ had the same issue here once |
thanks a bunch jmke, I think i had this problem once before too a long time ago. It's no problem to reformat just that I'm not going to have access to my windows disk again for another 3 days when I get back to my apartment. Never had a problem like this with my own PC but then again i don't have a card reader either. thanks again -Ray |
