=> lots and lots of CDrom drives
=> 2x IBM 60GXP 40gb, each disk returned to tones 2 times, 2nd time they traded for some seagate disks
=> 1x WD1200 8mb buffer disk, returned to tones once, got a brand new one on the spot
=> 1x teac 8x SCSI writer... Fine machine, burned me > 1000 CD's, when it was about 3 years old, I accidentally pushed one of the pins on the connector inside the drive... It kept on functioning, but with one minor detail : it didnt recognize all CDR's on the instant, you had to put them in twice, which became quite annoying....
=> one P1 133 got fried by lightning some time ago, was still a good pc
=> same happened to a P2 system, also not too old... fried, couldn't recover a thing...
=> that's it I guess... no biggies untill now by my doing, I'm a very carefull dude

good thing there are ensurance companies... they pay lots of money for old pc's

applied the superglue for unlock. Was drying on my desk in the sun, but then my mother begun cleaning my room an trowed evering that was on the 'versterbank' to my desk, including a holder for tape (one of those hevy things). It must have landed right on the cpu, because several pins were broken of or bent and the core wasn't intact either
