Speed is great, but I wonder: how long are you gonna keep that IP?

Seems like keeping page size < 15Kb pays of. :)

It's a dynamic IP, but it almost never changes. My kotnet IP has never changed in three years. I don't know how frequently my Telenet IP changes, but I hope it stays the same too.

Kotnet is like one big network that is connected to the rest of the net via a central server. This is why your IP almost never changes.
Telenet hands out new IP's every 4-36 hours to keep their IP pool small.

my telenet IP changes every other year or so ;)

RichBa5tard 6th December 2004 11:24

About as frequent as you shut down your computer? :p

Indeed; why is this a bad thing? ;)à

Dit the same thing with Actua in the early days (when it was hosted @ home).

That's why the forumengine still uses very few bandwidth :)

But since I added support for attachments, I hosted it | priorweb (already a year).

Recently I'm trying to run a ut2004 server for some gaming with friends, but my IP keeps changing several times a day :(

Anyway, going littel bit offtopic...

Kepp up the good work I\'d say!
