Default how do i remove trojans???

I have a few trojans on my pc. one is a.zlob or something, it makes my home page come up as some internet security site. Ive tried sybot, adaware, ewido and avg antivirus. avg detects it but cant do anyhing. Ewido find it and and says it removes it but doesnt. All no help. I relay dont wanna have to reformat but if i have to i guess i will. I would prefer if i could find something free but if theres something anyone knows that will definately clean it i guess id pay for that. How do i remove these dern things. Thank you.
