Default how to burn memtest86 on cd

i've tried several times to burn it with nero6, with no result :c.
i did the following procedure:
-i download the iso-file from the memtest site
-i unzip the pakkage. is it normal that i've to extract the package twice ?
-open nero, burn image, browse to the extracted files, but nero doesn't recognize any file-type that i've extracted

can somebody help me?

when i open the extracted file, i see a file "BOOT" with the following contents
1)BOOT (security catalog)
2)MEMTEST (BIN file)
3)MEMTEST (IMG file)

and where the f*ck is the iso file?

?
1) Choose : bootable CD
2) copy memtest-directory from HD onto bootable cd

Don't get the iso, get the installer which copies the files to floppy.

Then copy the contents of the floppy to a bootable CD.

easy as pie

download:
http://www.memtest86.com/memtest86-3.0.iso.zip
extract *.zip file.
you'll end up with a *.iso file.
Burn the *.iso file onto a CD (if needed select show all filetypes in nero, older versions might not see .iso by default)

DO NOT extract the *.ISO file anymore. If you installed winrar it will think this to be a compressed file, IT ISN'T. Just burn that one.
