Default help :p

Today my new cpu arrived from Bicker .. thnx!
( XP1800+ )

I 'pulled out the Duron800 from the Abit KR7A
& inserted the XP1800+

boots up, no problem,
prime95 no problem,

but when I launch a game ( 3DMark/Unreal ), it hangs after 10 sec

my n00bish question:
does changing the cpu have ANY effect on the GFX?

I also have:
Geforce 3 Ti500
&
Twinmoss PC2100 ( also tried PC 2700 )

I have a feeling something might be wrong with the gfx,
it's very hot ...fans still running though

any idea's I can try ?

if your GF worked fine before, it would work with another CPU.
