help me please

i have an ASROCK 4core 1600 twins-p35 mobo and a q9300 cpu with an xfx 8800 gts 640 mb gfx card. the problem i have is when playing call of duty 4 online i keep getting gfx driver failed messages and game lock ups, i am using 181.22 driver. does any1 have any ideas please

does this only happen when running COD4 online ? Or do other games have problems too ?
If you have problems in other games it might be your card overheating, you can keep an eye on your GPU temps with rivatuner.

i think so, but temp seems to stay around 69 to 73 celsius

Vsync enabled or disabled ? is the pc prime stable small FFT and Blend ?
