it is not possible to change the drive letter of the system drive, which in this case is I:\ on your system. Don't know how you accomplished on installing your XP system that way though :) |

let the real guys solve this :p Anyway there is indeed nothing you can do about it exept reinstalling XP as far as I know. So far for solving the matter. The way this happens is that there are other assigned drives when windows installer formats and partitions the system partition. This partition then gets the next available drive letter and since C... were already taken by other partitions/drives you'll end up with I. However I is way off and normally USB and CD drivers aren't loaded in windows isntaller so they souldn't be seen yet. Install windows only with the main HD and 1 CD connected, that should prevent most problems. |
