gts 320mb is quite good, step up to 640mb not needed unless you plan to play at 1600x1200+ resolutions with high level of AA/AF; but even then difference is small.

would maybe look at cheap E4300 or similar Core 2 CPU, performance of that Celeron will bring down performance of your PC with all games, even if you were to overclock it

but im planing to get a q6600 in the mid of july anyways
and considering that i want to keep the pc for a while, i think games like alan wake will benefit from a 640mb.

what do you guys think about the mainboard?
rather get a p35?

either will be quite OC friendly at stock P35 will have small lead; would go for HD 2900 XT then instead of GTS 640mb as it seems to offer better performance in most tests

gigabyte p35 and asus both very good overclockers, and clock for clock in comparo with P965 they are faster.

choosing between HD 2900XT <> GTS 320Mb my choice is also the latter; don't forget that fall 2007 NVIDIA will introduce the G90...

i finally decided,

i took the dfi infinity p965 s
p35 is slightly faster i guess but imo functionality of the dfi > p35.
since im planing to get a q6600 and no 45nm cpu i guess...its also the right decision.

also decided to take the 320mb 8800gts and think ill step up to a 8800gts(/x if prices drop enough)
