Flash Trouble

Gainward fx5900

I just flashed this board to a xf5900U. Flash was successful But on rebooting my mahine the card has dissappeared from mw system. Tried reflashing but flash Proggie says there isn't a nvidia adapter to flash (that is flashing back to orig bios).

used nvflash 4.41 and gainward bios.

I've tried reseating the card re-booting all to no effect. Any help would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

I think you bios on the card is corrupted, i had the same problem and a friend fixed it.
I dont know exactly what he did but he typed the command and used just one extra thingy to see what it sead.
So for example he typed nvflash /P en next time and an other time nvflas /u etc..

Do you still got something on your screen or is it black?

Isnt there an option with nvflash to force the flashing? See the text file with it..

try to flash it with a PCI VGA card, that should work.

you can not use onboard graphics + AGP card at the same time afaik.

boot with PCI videocard, then try to reflash the FX

OK i've now tried that, nvflash keeps saying there is no nvidia product to flash. Any other ideas? Sorry for the last post i was going back on my browser and hit refresh and it reposted.
