|  firewire to ide problem: i ordered an ide-to-firewire bay (so i can connect my hdd to any pc with firewire) but in windows nor bios nor dos the hdd is regcognized. anyone any tips about the jumper settings,?? i've tried them all but cable select... greetz |

| May i know where you bought it ? i have a laptop with firewire and this was something i was looking for or is this not a standalone bay ? |

| I let my dad buy a Iomega firewire 40 GB HDD for his backups compact, light but very expensive (+300€) |

| i intend on having for that price 200 gb normal ide harddisks with this converter cheaper and better and hopefully as fast  |
