firefox doesn't stop all pop-ups anymore

It seems like firefox doesn't stop all the pop-ups. I allways liked firefox for the reason it was able to stop all pop-ups.

Does someone know a plug-in or a good free pop-up blocker that works with firefox?

why u allways answer with a search in google :wtf:
I prefer something that works good, and the only way I know it sure is when someone tells me what he is using.

because google holds 99% of all answers, especially when you are talking about popular software, firefox IS popular and hitting google with a nice Pop-up block search is bound to give you a series of usefull plugins and downloads with commentaries and reviews

his point was that he doesn't have to read the reviews and holds the opinion/experience of a fellow madshrimper higher then that off just any firefox user

so, if someone here already had read the reviews, articles and personal opinions and perhaps tested a few options himself then that person could simply tell him the pros and cons and he could tell him what he felt worked best for him

the good way to do this in my humble opinion is to look around on google and post here names of plugins and ask if anybody has experience with them, that way you show that you at least "tried" to search around on your own
