fastest drivers geforce4 ?
 

i reinstalled a pc for a friend

1800+ nforce2 mobo 512 mb pc3200 geforce4 ti4200

installed everything fresh - latest nvidia drivers , ran 3dmark2001 , only got +- 8500 points

i knew the latest drivers were not the fastest , but didnt think the difference was that big - what version should i try ?

evaluate performance with the latest games, older drivers will likely provide worse performance with recent games

Very good in last games, don't know in new games because I din't compare.

I know my drivers aren't so good as the last ones but I only play OLD online game tactical ops.
Besides that nfsu2 and other new rts games.

I'll do a quick test with fraps between 40.72 & 66.93
