Critical Error when playing Splinter Cell
 

i get a critical error when i`m tryin`to run splinter cell... (NOT P.T.)
it says "Critical Error" at top, and "General protection fault!" down below... anyone here who knows how to fix this?

intel pentium 4 1.2 Ghz
128 RAM
128 RAM v.card
windows xp...

i`m not very into computers, so this was all i could think of... just ask if you need more info..

what videocard?
what service pack for XP?
what drivers for the vidcard?

onboard videocard? might well be the problem, sure it's a 128Mb videocard?

yea, at least it used to be.... :p just talked to my brother and he said "i lent yer videocard" ...... that f*ckin` punk.. so now i`m using the onboard v.card.. yepp, thats probably the problem.
