Default Bad OC mobo?

I got an nf7-s rev2, 2 acutally, 1 with the new colorred dimm's and 1 with the old black colored banks but both don't seem to go much over 213 fsb Although I did most of my testing so far with the older nf7.

So far, I've tried
2 mobile 2400's of witch one can make 2500+ mhz on 1.7V bios, wich is the on e I used for testing mostly, the other one I haven't tested for max yet.
tried the mobile with and without socket l12 mod (166)
I've tried merlin's d25 rev3D cpc on bios and triests d24 vanilla bpl 3.19 both of wich didn't gave much over 225 stable fsb (all at multi 8)
no Vmods done but there's an actic cooling fan on the NB and a zalman passive on the SB
Also I'm using an OCZ DDR voltage booster at 3.3-3.4 (except 3.0 for the apacer sticks)
I've tried bh-5 sticks from corsair, kingston and muskin 2*512 and bh-5 mushkin 2*256, ocz el 4200 and eb 3700 2*512's and apacer 2*256

All to no avail.

I'm pretty much out of ideas as to what may be the problem.
If you guys know anything else I should try then please tell but if that's it, I guess I just got bad boards
The odd thing is the old nf7 was supposed to do 240 fsb out of the box...

*edit* In the mean while, i've tested numerous modded biosses from trats, triest, tictac and merlin, all yielding about the same fsb's:
225 windows stable
227 superpi run possible (not stable though, crashes sometimes)
231 memtest errorfree

not all motherboards are created equally

the only way you are going to get that bugger any higher is by voltmodding the board to increase the voltage to the NB, watch out though as 2v+ can kill the chip.

thx for the input

on to the next issue then
As I see it, there are 3 things I can do:

1 Sell the bad OC'ers and buy new nf7's untill I got a good one, loosing money (??€) for every board that isn't good enough.

2 Try to find a seccond hand good OC'ing nf7 with the risk of being scammed.

3 Buy a DFI Infinity or Lanparty, in dispite of the problems people have been having with these boards in the past, I hear their latest 2 bios revisions are quite fail safe.

haha, my last 3 mobo's havent gone above 202 on the fsb, and now with my new nf7-s rev2, i cant use odd multiplier settings....i cud get 2.5 at 1.65v with my mobile on my a7n8x-e at 12.5x200, my new nf7-s cant even do that, i get 12x200 tops, i tried 10x200, and tried raising it up to 208 and it crashed, 10x204 was barely stable

My NF7-S Rev2 will hit 220 but couldn't pass Prime; does everything else. 215 is Primestable. People here just keep RMA going until they get a good one. That's why Newegg is so goood.

when working with Mobile CPU you need to the L12 mod in order to be able to use all multipliers
