Attachments greyed out + connection

W2K - SP2
I reformatted my main rig and it runs beautifully, except for 2 problems i have never encountered before.

1) I cannot look at / or save mail - attachments. They aren't even in my cache. Power user or administrator, it doesn't matter, the attachment is greyed out. For now i send them to the second rig (with the same setup) were it does work.

2) Bank software : calling into the bank's server through LAN gives me an error as poweruser ... no problem as administrator though. I guess this is more secure ... but i never had a similar problem before.

1) If it is with Outlook Express:
Extra > opties > tabblad beveiliging > "opslaan of openen van bijlagen die mogelijk een virus bevatten" wegvinken

I think it will be about the same with Outlook XP/2000

I don't have any solution for your second problem for i'm not familiar with home-banking

Banksoftware = Isabel
It makes a secure LAN connection to the isabel server. I cannot use that connection as a poweruser.

I installed the program as administrator, logged in as administrator.

If i install the program as poweruser + administrator password it is OK.

Helpdesk said it has something to do with the "host(s ?)" - file.

But, no problem, it is more secure this way.
.... Still curious though :)

so Isabel needs local admin rights to run?

Nope, i can use Isabel as poweruser ... but i cannot make a connection to the Isabel server.
So, as poweruser, i can look at all the info the different accounts at different banks. But i cannot get dayinformation or send payments.
It's only the SSL connection to Isabel that's "blocked" / "privilege" of the administrator account.
