 |  Ik heb zonet eens een HP80 op m'n 9500 gezet: core van 275mhz naar 375mhz and rising =D -edit- ... nu al aan 400mhz core. wft?

| Hoger dan 405mhz crashed ie. er staan 2 120 mm's op te blazen, en er zit een homemade koperen plaatje tss om niet tegen de shim te komen. Nu geen tijd om verder te benchen, moet facbar gaan openen.

| Does anyone know how to overclock beyond powerstrip's limits? The highest I can set is 368mhz, which seems to be rockstable (played UT2K3 for an hour without problems). Rivatuner let me go higher, but as i said before, it's pretty buggy. If i overclock with rivatuner beyond 300mhz, the performance is crap. It does let me set it to 405mhz until it crashed though.

| Finetuning with rivatuner brought me up to 373mhz rock stable, i just spend an hour playing UT 2K3 with it. UT 2K3 1280*1024 @ 4*AA + 16*FA + all detail highest = *drool*

| I think rivatuner & powerstrip use different approaches on overclocking the Radeon while rivatuner uses software I think, it lowers the timings, so you can reach higher speeds, while powerstrip has access directly to the bios & ups the speed while maintaining the very strict timings this way, or around, not sure which one does what, I'm sure you are resourcefull enough to find the definitive answer :grin:
